Police confirm that SIAN representatives were involved in the detour, which created major traffic problems on the E6 on Saturday afternoon.

Police confirm that the driver of the other car has been arrested.

– We have every reason to believe that SIAN’s car was run over on purpose, which meant that it drove out and ended up on the roof, the police report.

According to police, there were five people in the car of the SIAN leader. Four have been taken to the emergency room, while the last has been taken to hospital. No one is seriously injured.

Police say they have reason to believe that the background is that SIAN has been burning Koran throughout the day.

Task leader Tore Barstad says TV 2 that the driver is charged with attempted grievous bodily harm.

COLLISION: A video shows how the SIAN leader’s car is apparently being pushed out of the road.

– Can it be relevant for you to arrest several of those involved in the accident?

– As of now, it is not, says operations manager Tor Grøttum.

– We are now investigating on the spot what really happened. We relate to the video, and are not yet in the whole picture. The investigation will show that, and the status of the others can also change.

Damage to the left side

Police stopped the other car in a parking lot near the scene of the collision. On Saturday afternoon, they searched with a dog on the spot and towed away the car involved.

The car has obvious damage on the left side and in the front.

VG has interviewed one of the people who was in the car. The person in question will not say whether it was a driver or a passenger.

– They crashed our car first and sprayed it. We crashed back afterwards in self-defense. Their car rolled around, the person in question told VG shortly after the incident.

VG’s photographer on site says that he has seen some red spray on the windshield. According to people on site, the spraying must have taken place before the incident on E6.

The person in the car says that they extinguished a burning version of the Koran after the SIAN members had lit it at Mortensrud.

– I extinguished the fire with my hand. No one else dared. All Muslims are with me when I put out the fire, the person says.

The person in question says that they will report the SIAN leader after the incidents on E6 and on Mortensrud.

VG observed that another person was taken away from the place by the police.

Apparently hit

Lars Thorsen, leader of the organization Stop the Islamization of Norway (SIAN) confirms to VG that he was involved in the accident. He describes that the car he was driving was hit by another car.

A live video VG has seen shows that the other car apparently drives into Thorsen’s camouflage-colored car. The car then loses control, drives off the road and ends up on the roof.

Earlier in the video, the SIAN leader is seen burning the Koran at a pedestrian crossing at an intersection.

It also develops into an amp mood and a brawl between what are supposed to be SIAN representatives and several people trying to put out the burning Koran.

BURNED THE QUR’AN: People at the place where the car is standing show the burnt Quran.

SIAN-Thorsen tells VG that the incident also happened according to him after what he calls a political marking, where they had burned a Koran.

The organization had also made similar markings in three other places in the capital: In front of the Greenland police station, at a mosque in Stovner and at the scene where Thorsen is said to have sprayed three people with defense spray.

Thorsen was Friday charged with violence, damage and violation. He is said to have injured three people by spraying defense spray on their face, vandalizing an activity center and sharing a video of the spray attack online.

The SIAN leader denies criminal guilt for this, and claims the spraying took place in self-defense.
