Tribute to actress Shweta Menon at 6th Haryana International Film Festival. Shweta was awarded the Pratibha Award instituted in the name of Smita Patil. Shweta is also the first Malayali actress to receive this award. He received the award at a function held at Karnal Government College, Haryana. Nargis Dutt also presented the Pratibha Award to Rituparna Ben Gupta. Shweta Menon, who came to the silver screen as Mammootty’s heroine in Anaswaram, has received the State Award for Best Actress twice. Shweta was last released as the heroine in Pallimani directed by debutant Anil Kumbasha.
