XDA Developers claims to have the first photos of the Samsung Galaxy S20 + 5G. The images show a smartphone with a set-up with four cameras on the back. The screen is less ’rounded’ on the sides than previous models.
XDA Developer claims having received the photos from an anonymous source. The camera module of the smartphone contains four cameras, a flash and a hole that XDA suspects is for a microphone. On the side you can see the volume control and the power button, but a Bixby button does not seem to be present.
As far as the screen is concerned, it is striking that this is less curved on the sides than with the S10 +. This is an Infinity-O screen with a camera hole, but this hole appears smaller with the S20 5G than with its predecessor. Samsung would again deliver the device with a screen protector.
Samsung likes on 11 February an event where it will probably announce the new generation of Galaxy S devices. According to rumors, the manufacturer wants to release 4G and 5G versions of the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S20 +. In the US, the device would receive the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 in combination with an X55 modem for 5g support. In other countries, the device would contain the Exynos 990 from Samsung itself.
