Rosenborg has had a complete black start to the season, with only one point in three games. This week thanks to coach Eirik Horneland.
The best thing that has happened to the Trunders so far this season is perhaps Torgeir Børven’s goal form. Rosenborg’s problem is that he is still scoring his goals for Odd.
On Saturday night he put his fifth and sixth for the year when Odd knocked Start 5-0 in Kristiansand.
After that, Børven did not conceal that he hopes and believes RBK and Odd will agree on an agreement that will make him RBK-ready before the transition window closes on June 30.
– Think they will agree
From August 1, he is regardless of Rosenborg player. But if he is not ready by June 30, he will not play for RBK until the transition window opens again on September 8.
In that case, he will be able to play matches for Odd until the contract expires July 31. But from August 1 to September 8, he will not be able to play for any of the clubs.
– I think the clubs agree, says Børven after the match against Start.
– If Odd is going to have something left for me then it is now they have the chance, he points out to NRK.
For Eurosport, Børven says he goes for the top scorer in the elite series regardless of whether he loses five matches.
Seashells switched in and out
While it is unclear when Børven will arrive in Trondheim, it is now clear that Per Ciljan Skjelbred (33) will come home to RBK before the transition window closes.
