Should Lionel Messi go alongside Neymar?

Paris Saint-Germain are apparently planning far-reaching changes this summer, which will primarily affect the supposed elite of the club. After Neymar is said to have been informed that he no longer has a future on the Seine, Lionel Messi is also said to be suggested a move.

Neymar has reportedly been sent to leave Paris Saint-Germain in the next few weeks. The exceptional talent should even be able to come to terms with this, but he probably demands that the majority of his 40 million euro salary continue to be paid out.

From a purely objective point of view, a Neymar departure is therefore quite difficult. The Spanish journalist Pedro Morata, who works for Cadena COPE, Marca and GOL, among others, comes up with the next spectacular report.

Morata claims that alongside Neymar, Lionel Messi is also set to leave PSG. “PSG cannot admit it and will deny it, but I can confirm that the sporting plan for the NEW PSG is for Neymar and Messi to leave the club as soon as possible,” Morata reports.

Nobody can afford Lionel Messi or Neymar

According to the current status, however, there should not be a club that would like to handle such a transfer without great concessions from Paris. Neymar’s contract is said to have been extended early this Friday until 2027, Messi is still under contract until 2023 including a one-year option.

But it’s not just the transfer fees that are due that are a big problem. Like Neymar, Messi is really getting the money in Paris. La Pulga is said to earn even slightly more than Neymar, making it almost impossible for other clubs to even consider a transfer.

The Parisian club boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi had recently launched a sweeping attack and, above all, put Neymar through the wringer: “A possible departure from Neymar this summer? What I can tell you is that we expect a lot more from all players than last season, a lot more! They all have to give 100 percent.”
