Should I exercise even though my muscles are sore? | Life & Knowledge

A few days ago I went over the limits of my training – and now my muscles are sore. Can I still do sports today?

Fitness trainer Rebecca Fugger (19) says: “Yes, absolutely.

However, I only recommend light training. We feel sore muscles when there are small tears in the Z-slices of the muscle fibers. These micro-injuries require nutrients for healing, which are transported through the blood. So you should do light exercise to stimulate blood circulation.

Not moving at all to allow the cracks to heal because of sore muscles will only prolong the healing process.

Light, stimulating exercises such as a walk, stretching or training with ligaments are a great help. “
