KOMPAS.TV – Rizieq Shihab has been named a suspect in a case of alleged incitement and violation of health protocols in the health quarantine law.
Rizieq was named a suspect together with Haris Ubaidillah, Ali Alwi Alatas, Mamas Suryadi, Ahmad Sabid Lubis and Idrus.
Following his determination as a suspect, the police also banned Rizieq and the five for the next 20 days and were prohibited from traveling outside Indonesia.
On the same occasion, the Jakarta Police Chief emphasized that the police would arrest the suspects and then undergo the legal process.
With the appointment of Rizieq Shihab as a suspect, the police will use the powers of force to either summon or arrest him.
Chairman of Legal Aid REITSoegito Atmo Prawiro said that currently Rizieq had heard information on the determination of the suspect and the attempted forced arrest.
Soegito also mentioned that Rizieq was ready to be cooperative. However, the apparatus must also be fair, the article is that of the many violations of the health protocol why only Rizieq was being pursued and why was he named a suspect so quickly.

In fact, the family has already appealed however Ahok still decide to accept the verdict and undergo the legal process in effect so that no commotion occurs.
