Shopping centers reopen in New York City

Shoppers in the Big Apple will be able to return to the malls today.

The establishments will operate at half their capacity and must have an improved ventilation system.

A representative from the Staten Island Mall says they have installed more than 100 air filters to comply with the measure.

The use of masks and maintaining social distancing will also be mandatory.

The food courts will not operate and eating at restaurants inside the shopping center will not be allowed.

Additional staff will help prevent crowding.

The casinos will also open under similar conditions.
