Shooting in Moselle: a 3-year-old child seriously injured

A 3-year-old child was seriously injured and his mother more lightly by gunfire, Friday December 31, 2021 in the afternoon in Algrange (Moselle), we learned from the town hall that the ex-spouse could be the author of the shots. The two victims were injured, it was added, specifying that the prognosis was engaged for the child.

The shooter opened fire on the hairdressing salon run by the mother of the child since December 7, the same source told AFP, confirming information from France Bleu Lorraine North. The shooter also hospitalized

The child, transported by helicopter to the Nancy hospital center, received “A bullet in the head and its vital prognosis is engaged”, Mayor Patrick Peron told AFP. “The shooter tried to end his life and is also hospitalized”, he added.

According to one of his assistants, Yvon Bonaldo, responsible in particular for security issues and who went there, the mother of the child was in the process of separation from her spouse, suspected of being the shooter who tried to commit suicide in Florange (Moselle).
