Police detained 17 people in connection with the case
At least three people have been killed and four others injured in a shootout outside a courthouse in Istanbul, Turkish state television TRT reported.
One of the four was seriously injured and is in danger of death. Police have detained a total of 17 suspects in connection with the armed battle.
According to TRT, the shooting in the court building in Küçükçekmece was the result of a quarrel between two parties in a court hearing. Police seized two pistols and a rifle at the scene.
