This afternoon, a man was shot dead in front of the Henry-Dunant hospital in Paris, the French news channel reports BFM. A woman who works at the hospital’s security service has been injured. The shooter, a man, managed to escape on a scooter.
The man who was shot has been shot in the head several times, various sources say. The manager of a neighboring restaurant saw the shooting happen. “I saw a hooded man shoot and a man lying on the ground.”
Then the manager saw the shooter walk forward to the man on the ground on which he shot twice from close range in the head. “The man who fired then left on foot, icy cold, as if nothing had happened. A scooter was waiting for him a little further.”
A spokesman for the Paris security region says that a settlement is being taken into account. The neighborhood is currently cordoned off.
