NEW YORK – Four men were shot in the Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn in a commercial area densely populated by stores, pharmacies and other businesses, authorities say.
All of the men, three of whom were shot in the leg and one wounded in the hand, were taken to hospitals after the shooting around 10:30 a.m. at Glenwood Avenue. They are expected to survive.
It was not clear what caused the shooting. No arrests have been made and police were unable to provide a description of any potential suspects in the early afternoon.
Images from our helicopter showed a heavy police presence at the scene.
