A notable success achieved by the series “The Choice”, which is being screened this Ramadan, starring Amir Karara and Ahmed Al-Awadi, and directed by Peter Mimi.

The series examines the sacrifices and heroism of the Egyptian army, through the story of Ahmed Mansi, commander of the 103rd Storm Battalion, who died in 2017 after a terrorist attack on an ambush in the Perth Square in Sinai.

The work also presents the story of the terrorist Hisham Ashmawi, who was recently executed, as he was a member of the armed forces with Ahmed Mansi before he defected and participated with terrorist organizations in operations targeting Egyptian security personnel.

And before the episodes from the end of the series, and with everyone ready to display the episode called “The Epic of Perth”, which deals with the attack of the Takfiri elements on the ambush of Perth and the martyrdom of its members of the armed forces, the audience was surprised by an important request from the series director Peter Mimi, who appealed to everyone to convince the families of the martyrs who Killed in this attack or injured not to watch the Thursday episode.

The director apologized to everyone before the episode was aired, because of what he called the ugliness of the scenes that will happen in the upcoming attack, which tried to reduce its ugliness as much as possible, but everyone should know the amount of sacrifices made by these heroes before their martyrdom.

He emphasized that the heroes remained steadfast, defending the Earth, the ambush, and their colleagues for the last breath, and therefore the public should see these championships, saluting Mansi and his men, as well as the people of these soldiers who endured what happened to their children.
