The deadly pandemic was not enough to prevent 76 people from congregating at a clandestine club located in a rebound area for new cases in Queens on Thanksgiving, the New York City Sheriff’s Office reported.
Sheriffs who raided the scene, on Junction Boulevard near Roosevelt Avenue, said a subject unconscious from excessive alcohol was in front of the illegal establishment around 1:15 a.m. Thursday.
