As reported by the subcommittee Robert Koniuszy, the incident took place on Wednesday before 3 p.m. at Jadźwingów Street in Warsaw’s Mokotów district.
– Random passersby noticed that about half an hour earlier a woman had entered the sanitary cabin with a child in her arms. The time she spent there disturbed the sighted. In view of the above, they informed the policemen about their observations – said the policeman.
The district attendant knocked on the cabin door several times. A 32-year-old girl with her daughter in her arms came out of the sanitary facility heated by the sun. The woman had glassy, cloudy eyes, enlarged pupils and distorted perception and speech, which could indicate that she was under the influence of a drug – he explained.
He indicated that the police asked the 32-year-old why she had been inside for so long and if she had taken any drugs.
“She said she injected herself with heroin and gave them a syringe with some of the substance inside,” he said, adding that officers had called the ambulance crew to the scene to check on the baby. – The doctor stated that the girl is in good health – he said.

– After bringing a child safety seat, the officers took the girl and her mother to the police station. Then they found out who the child’s father was and called him. When checking him in the police system, it turned out that he was wanted by the local prosecutor’s office to determine his whereabouts. The man, as ordered by the prosecutor, was summoned by the policemen to appear for questioning. Then the officers gave him the child – said the policeman.
He also stressed that the 32-year-old woman had heard allegations of possession of drugs and of exposing her daughter to the immediate danger of loss of life or serious damage to health. – The police will also inform the family and juvenile courts as well as social welfare about its negligence – he added.
For the alleged act, the woman may face up to 5 years in prison.
