The Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS) through a statement detailed that it has identified a person who calls herself Evelyn or Miriam and makes calls from the telephone number 3499-1683, presenting herself as secretary of the Minister of Health, Oscar Cordón, so the portfolio emphasized that it is false.

“This person has contacted departmental directors of Integrated Health Services Networks, summoning them to places outside the facilities of this Ministry,” Health warned about the movements made by this person.

To this extent, the MSPAS made it clear that this person has no relationship with the institution and makes an urgent call to health sector personnel and the population in general not to be fooled.

“All official communication from the ministerial office or vice offices is carried out through official channels. Summons to technical and professional personnel are carried out exclusively at the facilities of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance,” they warn.

Finally, they reiterated the importance of not falling into deception and also urged making the corresponding complaints to the competent authorities in case of receiving this type of fraudulent communications.
