Actress Sharon Stone has had nine miscarriages, she revealed.
Earlier this week, the 64-year-old actress commented on a Instagram post by People, which included an exclusive interview with Peta Margatroyd, who recently talked about the loss of a baby while her husband Max Chmerkovsky was in Ukraine.
“We, as women, do not have a forum to discuss how much this loss hurts. I lost nine children in a miscarriage.”revealed Stone, who is the mother of three adopted sons: Quinn Kelly, Laird Vaughn and Roan Joseph.
“This is not a small thing, neither physically nor mentally, but we are somehow made to feel that it is something we have to endure alone and secretly, with a sense of failure. Instead of getting the compassion, empathy, and healing we so desperately need. “Women’s health and well-being are fiercely ignored,” the Hollywood star commented.
Fifth Margatroyd, an Australian professional Latin dancer born in New Zealand, tells how dramatic an abortion she experienced. Her husband is also a dancer and choreographer with Ukrainian roots.
Margatroyd, 35, was with her 5-year-old son, Shay, who watched her be taken to an ambulance. She called for help after she fell to the floor in her little boy’s bedroom, completely unable to move – days before she tested positive for coronavirus.
“I didn’t have the strength. I couldn’t open the dishwasher. I couldn’t open the fridge to feed Shai, nor could I give him toast,” said the famous dancer. “It got so bad I was having trouble breathing now, it was really dramatic.”
At the hospital, Margatroyd called her husband, who was thousands of miles away in Ukraine, and turned him on the speaker when the doctor entered her room.
“I thought it was bad news. He asked, ‘Did you know you were pregnant?'” Pepa said.
From the other end of the phone, 42-year-old Chmerkovski began to rejoice.
“He heard the doctor say, ‘You’re pregnant,’ but he didn’t hear the next part of the excitement – we had lost the baby,” she said.
