A real tragedy experienced by a young man in his second decade of life, in the center and city of Mahalla al-Kubra, in the Gharbia governorate, after he had a rare disease that made him unable to move or work, and his father is dead and lives with his mother, the old lady in one house, which made him knock on all the doors looking for One job opportunity he can spend on his mother and meet their needs.

“The Seventh Day” met Shaaban Abdel Hamid Suleiman, 24, who lives in the village of Saft Turab, which is affiliated with the Mahalla al-Kubra center. He lives in a deer house without concrete roofs, and insects attack them in the summer and rainwater in the winter, and his father died before He was born in a few months, and his mother raised him with the pension of his deceased father, and he was unable to work to meet their needs, and he left all the doors for help, and no one answered his call.

Shaaban said, “My mother and I have been living an inhuman life in a deer house for ten years, despite the numerous appeals, and my mother is an old woman who was unable to work and does not have from the world only her own pension, which is not enough for my own medical costs, which exceeds 600 pounds per month.” This is other than her mom’s treatment.

And the young man added, I was living a normal life like any child, and suddenly, more than 12 years ago, when I was in the sixth grade of primary school, I used to go to play football at the Ghazl El Mahalla club, and when I practiced sports I began to feel very tired, and the inability to move, and immediately I was informed My mother and I performed a bone examination in one of the famous clinics, and after the doctor asked for analyzes and rumors, it was found that I had a rare disease called “myasthenia gravis”. This disease did not make me able to move except with great difficulty.

Shaaban explained, I did not despair and went to orthopedic doctors in Mahalla al-Kubra and the city of Tanta, but they told me the same thing, and since that time I have been living unable to move or work to help my mother with our needs and treatment costs, so I extracted a disability certificate and submitted it to the Directorate of Manpower and the Council of Ministers Have a job, but I haven’t found any job to help me yet.

Shaaban indicated that he submitted a report of his health condition to the Gharbia governor’s office, and delivered all his papers to the director of the governor’s office, to help him find any job that would help him given the difficult health and social conditions he was going through, but to no avail so far, demanding the governor of Gharbia Seeing with a compassionate eye and helping him find a job will help him continue life.
