The additional function of Post as transport manager came to light, writes Omroep Flevoland. The drugs were found in a shipment of flowers, and the integrity investigation showed that Alderman Post had arranged precisely this flower transport by contract, the broadcaster reports.
‘Integrity is important and so is it’
Last night Post resigned his position as councilor in an additional council meeting. “Integrity is very important to the SGP and to me too. I thought I could stay on, but do others think so too?” Post no longer entered into a debate with the city council and left.

Son in jail
According to Omroep Flevoland, Post’s son is still in an English cell and he should certainly stay there until January.
