SG supporters start wild riots at FC St. Pauli

Riot at St. Pauli against Dresden

After the second division game between FC St. Pauli and Dynamo Dresden, there was a riot in the Millerntor Stadium on the part of the guests “fans”. A coach is now demanding an exclusion from the league.

The game of the second division teams St. Pauli and Dresden ended 0-0. For some guest supporters, this was probably not satisfactory after the final whistle – they began to riot violently.

Some “fans” of Dynamo Dresden tried to climb the walls to get to the St. Pauli spectators. First folders had to intervene, then according to the “Hamburger Morgenpost” the police had to intervene.

“They should get out of the league”

Such an unsightly scene that St. Paulis goalkeeper coach Mathias Hain scolded: “There is no such thing. Such a pack. They should get out of the league.” Head coach Jos Luhukay also commented on the riot: “That’s a shame. It shouldn’t be done.”

Both clubs announced on Twitter that they would work on the events. According to the police on Saturday, twelve stewards and six police officers were injured. There were a total of 22 arrests. The police emphasized that the number of arrests did not only relate to the incidents immediately after the game, but to the total deployment before, during and after the game.
