Serious Sam 4, formerly subtitled Planet Badass, will be released in August 2020 and was revealed today through the few videos below:
The Steam page newly created gives some additional info. We will find the emblematic enemies of the series as well as some new bosses and opponents, while the arsenal will be equipped, in addition to conventional weapons, an automatic shotgun, a laser beam of death and a locking missile launcher. Big news in this opus, the Legion system will also allow Serious Sam 4 to display several thousand enemies simultaneously. The campaign will remain, as usual, fully playable in cooperation.
We will not hide it: what is shown on the screen is particularly ugly and even pays the luxury of not being fluid in the videos. The Legion system, on the other hand, seems rather sympathetic and interesting from the point of view of a large brainless stripper. Anyway, can Croteam really do worse than Serious Sam 3? Answer this summer.
Serious Sam 4 will therefore be released in August 2020 at a price of 34 € on Steam and on Stadia (!).
