Serie A in apprehension. The situation

It is October 11, and yet Juventus-Naples still holds court. A little more than a week has passed since that super turbulent Saturday, but it was not enough for a final decision on what happened. Below is the situation and the future in this regard.

Juventus-Napoli, 3-0 at the table by regulation. But it’s not that simple

It is a short circuit, rules that clash with the law. This is therefore the reason why the decision of the sports judge failed, despite the many days to reflect on it. It started from 3-0 at the table, until the match was postponed with a penalty point for the Azzurri. Yet clarity still lacks …

The FIGC presses for the 3-0 at the table, there are no doubts in the regulation. But the intervention of the ASL is allowed by the protocol, so an appeal could be opened by Napoli that the League would like to avoid losing. Meanwhile, the Federal Prosecutor is investigating the bubble created in Naples after Zielinki’s positivity: there is a desire to understand if it was carried out correctly. If not (badly applied) then it could be possible to proceed for the 3-0 at the table, with the awareness that in the event of an appeal the Serie A League would not run further risks.

Here, however, the Napoli lawyer Grassani is very safe. In fact, the club is firmly convinced that it has acted according to the law and is unwilling to accept either a punishment (3-0 at table) or a penalty (whether it is a fine or a penalty point). Everything is seasoned by the clash between Agnelli and De Laurentiis. The two companies have already entered into friction in the market because of Arek Milik, this last episode was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Serie A in apprehension

In conclusion, the decision regarding Juventus-Napoli will be taken between Monday and Wednesday, because this will affect the rest of Serie A. In fact, the Milanese will have to face the derby next week and Inter – for now – has several infected players and one strong defensive emergency.
