Serbia revolted. What bothers the neighbors?

Citizens blocked the highway near the Sava Center congress in the New Belgrade district today, a reporter for the Serbian newspaper Blic reported, quoted by BTA. Protesters allow only ambulances and fire engines. Slavia Square, the Gazelle Bridge and the Pancevo Bridge are also blocked in Belgrade.

Several environmental groups have staged protests demanding the release of all those arrested during previous demonstrations, the withdrawal of the Expropriation Act and the Referendum and People’s Initiative Act.

In the previous action, the blocking of the movement caused serious shocks among the public, and in some places there was a physical altercation.

Reporters from the Blic newspaper from several cities in Serbia reported that traffic was also blocked in their cities.

In Novi Sad, citizens blocked the “Bridge of Freedom” and continue to arrive in large groups. An incident occurred in Novi Sad in which a group of young people pelted protesters with stones, after which a fight ensued. After the incident, the young people fled, and the protest continued.

In Uzice, citizens blocked the bridge on the highway through the city on both sides.

In Nis, citizens gathered in front of the town hall in the city center. A protest is currently taking place in Subotica.
