A 34-year-old Senegalese woman threw herself from the 3rd floor of her apartment, with her 8-month-old baby (female).
According to Les Échos, she wanted to escape from a fire caused by a wooden elevator.
The drama took place yesterday in Turin, Italy. Flames reached the door of her apartment.
Dead end, she jumped from her balcony with her little girl, falling on the sidewalk. They are both seriously injured.
The mother is admitted to the operating room, suffering from thoracic trauma, multiple fractures of the pelvis and lower limbs.
The baby has had a heart attack and is going to have neurosurgical surgery for a serious brain injury.
