The barter on the Leboncoin site ended in a bloodbath. A 23-year-old young woman died on the night from Sunday to Monday at Montfermeil hospital, after being stabbed three times in Gagny (Seine-Saint-Denis). Three people are in police custody.
On Sunday evening, a little before 11 p.m., a group of four people from Essonne – including the deceased young woman and her brother – went to a pavilion on avenue des Coquelicots in Gagny. The inhabitants of this house, a couple and their teenage son, are not completely unknown to them: the two groups exchanged two motorcycles after making contact on the Leboncoin site.
But the Essonnians feel aggrieved by the barter and want to get their bike back. The discussion escalates, noisily it seems, since the police are called for a brawl in this avenue lined with small houses. When the officials arrive, only the occupants of the pavilion are present.
The father cracks and confesses
The police leave empty-handed. But when the Montfermeil hospital contacted them, around 2 a.m., to report the death of a young woman by stabbing, they quickly made the link with the brawl for which they had been called earlier.
They return to the pavilion on Avenue des Coquelicots. This time, the father, 45, “cracks” and admits to being the author of the fatal stab wounds, two in the thorax and one in the abdomen. His wife, 43, presents the weapon to the police. Both are in custody, as is a 17-year-old boy.
Several neighbors of the couple saw the police in the early hours of Monday, without knowing exactly what was going on. “I had heard about a story of a stolen motorcycle, that their son wanted us to return his motorcycle to him but it was too suspicious, I did not want to get involved”, says a neighbor, describing a father of family “very nice, calm, smiling. “
