As everywhere in the inner suburbs, wearing a mask is compulsory in Seine-Saint-Denis. However, the bill can quickly fly off for some families to equip themselves. However, the Government announced not to offer masks, especially in middle and high schools while it was made compulsory from 11 years.

“Do not increase the cost of back to school”
If the Department and the Region have announced the distribution of masks, the city of Pierrefitte-sur-Seine (Seine-Saint-Denis) followed suit. Indeed, the municipality is organizing two new days of distribution of masks, Friday 4 and Saturday 5 September 2020.
“The decision to make the wearing of a mask compulsory in certain streets and in schools (with the exception of kindergarten and elementary school) is certainly a public health issue, but it cannot be done by increasing the cost of back to school for families, ”explains the City.
The distribution will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on the forecourt of the town hall. To benefit from it, you must have the Letter from the Mayor (distributed in letter boxes), a family booklet, as well as proof of address of less than 3 months.
