Sega’s new title ‘Dragon 8’ has revealed its release date. The game will be released on January 26, 2024 for PC (Steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, and officially supports Korean.
Like Dragon 8 stars Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu as the main characters. Ichiban Kasuga sets out on a journey to find her mother, and like the previous work, presents a story of growth from the bottom up. In addition, previous work colleagues and series characters are expected to join to help the protagonist and fight together.
Like its predecessor, the game is a turn-based RPG. When entering battle, players can move their characters to advantageous positions and use battlefield advantages to defeat enemies. In the case of Kazuma Kiryu, using the awakening system changes combat from turn-based to live action.
In addition to the previous work’s setting, Yokohama Isezaki Ijincho, the overseas stage Hawaii appears for the first time in the series, allowing you to meet various characters. In addition, minigames and play spots unique to the series will be prepared, such as fishing, hamburger delivery (Crazy Delivery), and Yakumon Battle, which are suitable for a coastal resort.
