Efforts to form the future cabinet are on the final straight. According to bTV sources, the distribution of ministers by parties, as well as the holders of the respective departments, is already largely clear.

It is almost certain that the co-chairman of “We continue the change” Kiril Petkov will be nominated for prime minister.

The coalition government is expected to have four deputy prime ministers. Asen Vassilev from the PP will also be nominated for Minister of Finance. Kalina Konstantinova, also from the PP, is expected to take over the administration.

The BSP leader Cornelia Ninova will probably be the Minister of Economy and Industry in addition to the Deputy Prime Minister, and Borislav Sandov from Democratic Bulgaria will be the Minister of Ecology.

The unofficial information is that PP proposes Professor Asena Serbezova as Minister of Health. And the current prime minister, Stefan Yanev, is likely to head the defense ministry. Todor Mechkarski from the PP is expected to be nominated for Minister of Culture.

The nomination of ITN for Minister of Energy will probably be Alexander Nikolov.
