The second-hand items are bought online just as much as in real stores.

Spring cleaning

Three quarters of the Dutch clean their cupboards with the spring cleaning. In most cases, the items go to family or associations for free, but a third of the population likes to resell them, according to research by parcel service Mondial Relay. They wanted to know how private individuals wanted to receive the parcels: at home or at work (57%), via a collection point (32%), or via the so-called locker (11%), which is the least favorite.
