SEC sues Binance and CEO for regulatory violations

The American financial markets policeman, the SEC, on Monday sued the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, and its boss, Changpeng Zhao, for circumvention of regulations.

According to the document filed in federal court in Washington, Binance notably let US residents use its platform despite the company not being registered with US authorities.
