Klaipėda’s annual Sea Festival, a long-standing tradition, is underway, drawing crowds to the coastal city. This year marks the 66th iteration of the popular event, which celebrates maritime heritage and community spirit.
The festival features a vibrant parade, with various port companies showcasing their creativity. Participants presented elaborately decorated boats, large seashell structures adorned with pearls, and colorful floats reminiscent of Brazilian carnival parades, all depicting various scenes.
Among the most keen attendees were the supporters of the basketball club “Neptūnas,” known as “Western Banga,” who brought considerable energy and noise to the festivities.
