Ziyad said whatever reason Qaimul insulted the Qur’an could not be justified. Not only the Qur’an, the act of insulting the scriptures of other religions also according to him cannot be done.

“Regarding the existence of someone who insults the Qur’an certainly can not be justified according to any religion, especially according to Islam. That first we must respect each other’s scriptures of each religion, therefore anyone including internal converts or inter-religious converts should not insulting or insulting the scriptures of a religion, whether a religion or a non -religion, is not allowed, “he said.

Not only that, Ziyad said that insulting the holy book was a criminal offense. For this reason, he urged the police to immediately process Qaimul’s law for his actions.

“If there are people who harass or insult the religious holy book, it is clear that he / she has committed a criminal act because there is a penalty. Therefore, to the Muslims we must act with a cold head and hand over this matter to law enforcers or law enforcement in this case the Police,” he explained.

“What is the punishment? Because this has entered the realm of law, MUI, I personally leave it to the law enforcement to enforce the law as fairly as possible so that it becomes a lesson for others not to play or mock their religion or the scriptures of their respective religions or Other religions, in this case it is the Qur’an, because this is the word of Allah, God Almighty, His Majesty we should glorify this holy book, what else is this in the month of Ramadan, “he continued.
