A serious traffic accident occurred on Friday evening near Schwarzach am Main. At around 6:30 p.m., a 21-year-old was driving her Opel from Großlangheim in the direction of Hörblach. When turning onto a dirt road near the quarry lakes, she overlooked an oncoming Skoda. Both vehicles collided almost head-on. Four occupants were injured.
Since a passenger in the Skoda was considered to be very prone to injury due to a previous illness and serious consequences of the accident were to be feared, a rescue helicopter was deployed.
The road had to be completely closed at times. The total damage amounts to around 25,000 euros.
