Wismar (dpa / mv) – After the corona infection of a teacher at the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Gymnasium in Wismar (Northwest Mecklenburg district), 23 of the 50 teachers were sent into quarantine. In tests of these teachers, a second infection was then detected, the district announced on Thursday. Although the two teachers concerned, who are in a close personal relationship, were in contact with students, no quarantine was imposed on the girls and boys. The risk of infection was classified as low due to the hygiene and ventilation concept. The children were only instructed to watch out for any symptoms and to report them immediately. The procedure was coordinated with the State Office for Health and Social Affairs in Rostock.
