In order to ensure the well-being of its students, teachers and other school personnel. The Lydia Patterson Institute located in the 517 block of Florence Street decided to cancel its classes this August 12
This is due to the fact that a large part of its students live in Ciudad Juárez.
“According to Dr. Holis, who is the supervisor of the diocesan schools of this diocese of El Paso, he tells us that there is a way that 90% of students who normally come here to study and that now they have waited at home part I imagine that is because the city sees the risk of being able to leave or perhaps they also see a risk that the violence will continue or even the bridges will close and they will not be able to cross back to their homes.”
Lydia Patterson joined other institutions in our neighboring city such as the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez and other establishments that decided to cancel operations this day for everyone’s safety.
