Scalper Group bought 1000 XSX consoles

A company that boasted not so long ago that she managed to get hold of the premiere over 3,500 PS5s, which received massive criticism from ordinary consumers, is coming along with the blow. Undeterred by criticism, she announces that this Sunday she hunted … 1000 Xbox Series X consoles. How come?

The British company CrepChiefNotify, because we are talking about it, has so far lived primarily by buying and reselling sneakers and sportswear at more expensive prices, but you can see that it is slowly changing the front. Using special bot software (via VGC), CrepChiefNotify members are able to break out consoles in online orders, which are often fought for by thousands of people hungry for next-gen experiences. Skipping the lines in this way is the target of many frustrated fans who have not yet managed to purchase the console.

The company, however, adds fuel to the fire, informing that last Sunday, users of its service carried out another successful campaign “securing” slightly over 1000 Xbox Series X consoles, which will of course be sold at higher than market prices. It was not stated who sold the consoles and where they came from, but CrepChiefNotify boasts of its achievement on social media. Previously, the company’s representatives assured that they did not regret anything and acted in accordance with the law. The question is whether there is ethics in it as well?

Microsoft has already become interested in the case, considering new ideas on how to implement pre-orders while avoiding scalpers, which legally can not do anything. The Redmond giant, with subsequent deliveries, is considering an option where customers will automatically reserve a console with a guaranteed delivery date after paying a deposit. Phil Spencer also noted that the issue will be discussed with trading partners, especially in a situation where the shortage of consoles may continue until April 2021, which has been officially confirmed.
