Say Yes To The Dress presenter Fred van Leer upset after leaked sex video: “Time to process” | Showbiz

ShowbizNot only do familiar faces sometimes fall victim to leaked nude images: the Netherlands now also has its own duped star. Presenter Fred van Leer, known for ‘Say Yes To The Dress Benelux’ on TLC, has fallen victim to a leaked sex video. He responded to all the fuss for the first time on Friday evening: “I need time to process this.”

Friday morning it became known that Van Leer has been the victim of a leak. The video, in which a lovemaking with Van Leer could be seen, was distributed for the first time yesterday. It is unclear who put the images online, but – just like in the ‘Eveline’ scandal with us – it is eagerly forwarded on social media.

Van Leer’s management is aware of the leaked video. “We know there is something in circulation. This is private, which should also remain private ”, his manager told the AD.

Offline

Although it first remained silent with the stylist on Friday, he said in the evening that he was grateful for all the sweet messages and the fellow members of his fans. Nevertheless, the stylist has decided to go offline for the time being. “It’s terrible what happened,” he writes on Instagram. “I need time to process it, which is why I will be offline in the near future.”

Lawyer Royce de Vries, who often assists well-known Dutch people, advises Van Leer to file a report. “A public person also has the right to take legal action. In the form of a report, or the engagement of a civil court. Both are also possible ”, he responds to the AD. “There is a culture in the Netherlands to share everything. Sometimes people even take pride in posting confrontational images of people online. It is very important that Fred sends a signal that he will absolutely not accept this. ”
