Saudi Sports Media Federation Takes Legal Action Against Violators of Media Ethics

Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Saudi Sports Media Federation issued a statement confirming that it is closely following what has been raised recently by some members of the federation in the media, including what is published on social media.

The federation monitored many media abuses during the last period, which contradict the objectives for which the federation was established, and legal measures were taken against violators according to the regulations and regulations, including the suspension and revocation of membership of a member who committed explicit abuse, regional discrimination, and derogation in one of the regions of the Kingdom.

The Sports Media Union said, “While the federation believes in the great role that sports media contribute to in the Kingdom, to convey a positive image of the reality of sport in our beloved kingdom, and convey the lofty media message that is consistent with the media policy of the Kingdom; we affirm that the federation, in cooperation and coordination with the authorities, We continue to take legal action against every violator whose membership in the federation is registered.
