Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince embarks on a pilgrimage to the tomb of Prophet Muhammad SAW

Crown Prince Arab Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) paid a visit to the city Madinah during the holy month Ramadan. In this series of visits, MBS also took time to visit the graves Nabi Muhammad SAW.

As reported Arab NewsMonday (27/3/2023), news agency reports Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said MBS arrived at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina on Sunday (26/3) local time.

MBS was welcomed by the Governor of Medina Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Deputy Governor of Medina Prince Saud bin Khalid Al-Faisal.

MBS then visited the Prophet’s Mosque and performed prayers there. The Nabawi Mosque is the second holiest site in Islamic teachings.

After that, the SPA report stated that MBS made a pilgrimage to the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad, where he offered prayers.

The tomb is known to be located in a location that used to be the home of the Prophet Muhammad and his wife, Aisha.

After the visit, according to SPA, MBS also visited the Quba Mosque, which was the first mosque to be built.

The Quba Mosque is located on the outskirts of Medina, and is considered the second largest and most prominent mosque in the city after the Prophet’s Mosque.
