“More than 20 shells landed today during the morning mortar shelling,” the governor wrote on Telegram.
“Fortunately, there were no casualties among the residents, but the attack resulted in minor damage to several houses,” he added Russia Today.
Starovoyt promised “all necessary assistance” to the affected locals.

Starovoyt also included two photos that were likely taken in the border region. One photo shows a window pierced by shrapnel, while the other shows what appears to be a fence made of sheet metal with an open, which appears to have also been caused by shrapnel.
This is not the first time the border area has been attacked by Ukraine. Tetkino himself had previously been targeted by Ukraine.
Back in May, a truck driver was killed in the village, and several other civilians were injured in an attack.
The conflict also affects other Russian territories bordering Ukraine.
