British actor Sasha Baron Cohen staged another loud prank in America. According to Variety, on June 27 the star of the films Borat, Bruno and Dictator showed up at a conservative rally in Washington and made his way to the stage. From there, he began to perform a steamy song about former President Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Wuhan Flu.
The actor’s trick was filmed by many eyewitnesses. You can see on the rollers that Cohen dressed like a caricature provincial farmer and parodied this image. He also brought along guards who did not allow the organizers of the event to kick him off the stage or turn off the microphone.
In his song, the actor called the coronavirus a liberal hoax and called for injecting it into the democratic leaders. Next came the lines that they need to be “chopped up, like the Saudis”. Interestingly, many viewers supported the speaker and clapped him.
It should be noted that Cohen made a name for himself with such pranks, that is, provocations in the real world, and not on the set. One part of them was shot for the television shows that he hosted, the second – for his comedy films. The Western press suggests that the current trick will become part of his political-satirical television series Who Is America?
