During Monday, about 700 cabin employees in SAS received a letter of resignation, reports the Danish news agency Ritzau.
The company has around 1200 cabin employees in Denmark. Thus, more than half have now been given notice of termination.
– There are a lot of employees and my colleagues are not doing well. The whole industry is also affected, so they can’t just apply for a job elsewhere, says Christa Ceré, chairman of CAU.
Those who have been given notice of termination have the option of choosing a leave period of up to 24 months instead.
