The people’s deputy asked for 13 thousand dollars to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on amendments to the legislation on the processing of solid household waste.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) handed the bill of indictment to the former deputy from the Servant of the People Alexander Yurchenko and his assistant Ivan Fischenko. About it informs Anti-Corruption Center Wednesday, 11 August.

It is indicated that in the near future the case will be sent to the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.

According to the materials of the case, Yurchenko asked the detective who worked undercover for 13 thousand dollars in order to submit to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on amendments to the legislation on the processing of solid household waste.

“Yurchenko demanded another $ 200 thousand to bribe his colleagues, MPs-members of the profile committee. This money was needed to vote on the committee and in parliament, but they did not have time to transfer it, as information about the case was” leaked, “the message says.

Recall Yurchenko was expelled from the Servant of the People faction last year due to suspicions of involvement in bribery. He was elected not according to party lists, but in the majority constituency, therefore, after being expelled from the faction, he retained his mandate.

And on July 8, in the center of Lviv on Mitskevich Square, the 32-year-old people’s deputy Yurchenko drives a Ford Mustang in a Volkswagen Jetta and then attacked its driver.
