Santa Águeda will inaugurate its “crochet” Christmas tree in Aduana street in Puertollano – 12/06/2020 Puertollano

The association of women affected by breast cancer Santa Águeda de Puertollano will inaugurate its Christmas tree on Aduana street, corner with Amargura street, this Thursday, December 10, at 12:30 p.m., in an act in which they will be wrapped up by two soloists from the Pablo Sorozábal Conservatory of the city, who will perform Christmas carols to the delight of those present.

This peculiar and original tree has been decorated by hand with beautiful “crochet” or crochet figures, made by all skilled women in the field and cancer patients, as well as by their relatives throughout the year.

Being an open-air space, the association reminds that in this case it is mandatory to wear a mask and maintain a safe distance.

The Christmas tree will remain on display in the small mattress store on Amargura Street throughout the month of Advent for the enjoyment of the citizens of Puertollano.
