Samsung has announced the Galaxy S10 Lite and the Note10 Lite. The smartphones are cheaper alternatives to the Galaxy S10 presented in the spring and the Galaxy Note10 announced in August.
The Galaxy S10 Lite has a suggested retail price of 649 euros, while the regular Galaxy S10 starts at 899 euros. The intermediate model, the Galaxy S10e, costs 749 euros.
The smartphone announced Friday has a screen of 6.7 inches, which is larger than the 6.1 inch or 6.4 inch of the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10 +. The device also has three cameras on the back (5 megapixels, a wide-angle lens of 48 megapixels and a lens of 12 megapixels for images with an even greater angle).
There is a 32 megapixel camera on the front. This is located at the top in a hole in the screen, just like with the Galaxy Note 10. Samsung had incorporated the selfie camera on the Galaxy S10 in the upper right corner of the screen.
The working memory of 8 GB and the storage capacity of 128 GB with the Galaxy S10 Lite is the same as the Galaxy S10, although the latter also has the option for 512 GB. The Galaxy S10e also has the option for 256 GB storage space.
Galaxy Note10 Lite
The Galaxy Note10 Lite will cost 599 euros. The smartphone that went on sale in August cost 949 euros for the variant with a 6.3-inch screen. The version with a 6.8-inch screen costs 1,099 euros.
The Galaxy Note smartphones from Samsung distinguish themselves from the S series because of their larger screen and included stylus. The Galaxy Note10 Lite has a screen of 6.7 inches which is therefore slightly smaller than the screen of the Galaxy Note10 +.
Lite smartphones are a supplement to Galaxy products
The Galaxy S10 Lite and Note10 Lite are a supplement to the best Galaxy smartphones from Samsung. The S models contain the best specifications. The Lite products sit between these products and the Galaxy A line. These smartphones fall in the price range of 300 to 500 euros.
The Lite smartphones both have a 4,500 mAh battery with support for fast charging. Samsung also offers face unlocking with the selfie camera. A fingerprint scanner is integrated in both screens.
