Samsung to Launch Galaxy S22 Ultra on February 8th

Samsung is expected to launch its flagship smartphone in early 2022, the Galaxy S22 series. However, until now Samsung has not revealed the launch date. As we know, the Galaxy S series was the first to use Qualcomm’s next generation chipset when it was released.

However, next year’s model will not arrive until early February. According to Ice Universe, Samsung won’t officially announce the Galaxy S22 Ultra until February 8. More models of the Galaxy S22 series will be announced on the same day.

Until finally Ice Universe noted that the flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra will be launched by Samsung on February 8. Before the device was launched, Ice Universe also mentioned that there will be up to 5 different flagship smartphone models that have been launched with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

Qualcomm itself has announced the presence of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 recently. As we can see, the competition to bring flagship devices powered by these chipsets has already started. Yes! A number of OEMs such as Motorola, Xiaomi and realme have opened their voices to immediately announce their smartphones.

Xiaomi will release the Xiaomi 12 series which is expected to be launched at the end of this month, previously there was news that it would be released on December 12, 2021. There is also Motorola with Edge X3 and realme through realme GT 2 Pro which is also ready to seize the “crown” that coveted.

However, many believe that all of these flagship models will not be available for purchase until next year. This means that flagship smartphones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC introduced by Xiaomi, Motorola and realme will be available in the market near the time when Samsung introduces the Galaxy S22 series.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will reportedly be equipped with a 108 MP main camera, which is coupled with a 10 MP, 10 MP and 12 MP camera. The 108 MP main camera will use the Samsung HM3 sensor. It has a 1/1.33-inch ultra-large bottom and an f/1.8 aperture. The pixel area is 0.8μm, and is expected to support OIS.
