Samsung shuts down Galaxy Note

Already last year the rumors spread like wildfire – right after Samsung launched the latest models in the popular Note series, Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. There was also no new Galaxy Note model this year.

And now it’s over. Samsung shuts down the entire Galaxy Note series. There will be no more Note mobiles and the existing models will disappear from store shelves. It reports the South Korean business media AND News.

Instead, Samsung intends to invest in the foldable mobiles in the Galaxy Z series, and of course the absolute flagship series Galaxy S – and as users of the latest collapsible Galaxy Z Fold 3 know, it supports the model S-Pen and has already taken over some of the main features of the Note series. The same applies to some extent to the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

This will apply even more to the new Galaxy S22 series, which is on its way and is expected to be launched in February next year.

ET News at least writes that Samsung will specifically market the upcoming Galaxy S22 Ultra as a Note successor and that that phone will take over several of the specific Note features, including integrated S-Pen and a more Note-like design.
