Samsung releases first 5G tablet in South Korea on Thursday NOW

Samsung officially has the Galaxy Tab S6 5G on Wednesday announced, the tablet is for sale in South Korea from Thursday. It is the first tablet that supports 5G.

This is a version of the Galaxy Tab S6, with 5G designation. 5G is a new, faster mobile network that is currently being experimented with a lot. The tablet appears on the 5G connection after not much different from the Galaxy Tab S6. Just like the regular S6, the device has 128GB of storage and 6GB of memory.

There were earlier rumors that Samsung would work on a tablet with support for 5G. Late December popped up the tablet on a promotion page from Samsung, but the tablet was not officially announced by Samsung before.

The tablet is for sale in South Korea from Thursday and costs 999,900 won, about 770 euros. It is not known if and when the tablet will be available in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands there is currently no 5G network that the tablet could use.
