SEOUL, iNews.id – Smartwatches from various brands are already out there, including Samsung. The South Korean electronics giant is now reportedly preparing a new smartwatch.
Samsung has two smartwatches slated to launch this year. Reportedly, the watch is in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Active.
This is actually not the first time hearing about Samsung’s smartwatch package. In fact, in December it was reported that one of the killer features of the Samsung Galaxy Watch was the presence of a non-invasive method for measuring blood sugar levels.
Galactic sugar is a feature that companies like Apple have reportedly been working on for years. But, it hasn’t debuted yet, as quoted from Ubergizmo, Tuesday (9/3/2021).
A feature like this will come in handy for those who want a better understanding of their health, especially diabetics who need to check their blood sugar levels throughout the day.
Current measurement methods involve taking blood which is not very hygienic if you are traveling. Non-invasive methods such as smartwatches will be of great help.
According to the tweet, Samsung will most likely announce a smartwatch in the second quarter of this year. So there’s a month to find out more details.
