Samsung plans frameless 8K QLED (Q900T) for CES 2020

Samsung will show a frameless TV at CES 2020. The company itself keeps a low profile, but numerous leaks speak a different language. Meanwhile are even Images of the 8K QLED (Q900T) leaked. The mass production of the new TV with 8K resolution and quantum dots should then start in February 2020. For the price, everything is still open.

In Las Vegas, however, the TV will probably already be seen. I will be there and of course risk a closer look and take photos. The design looks very tempting on the leaked pictures – but you can still see a very small, black border on the bottom (see article picture).

There are of course other TVs that are marketed as “zero bezel”, but realistically still use small frames. Samsung is now said to be the first manufacturer to actually achieve the ambitious goal of framelessness. I will take a closer look at CES 2020. As I said, you can still see a small, black border on the first picture – not on the second picture. Such press photos are never quite realistic anyway.

Especially since the pictures do not necessarily have to be real. I’m sticking to the topic. Due to the design and the 8K resolution, the upcoming Q900T should change hands anyway at a very high price and therefore probably not appeal to a very wide audience.
